
This is sample code for starting and specifying defaults to the Emacs-Lisp interface. emacs file, noted below, into the buffer. A buffer will be opened indicating a new file (or an existing file if one already exists). In Emacs, press the keys Control-X Control-F.

The installer is merely a repackaging of the gnu.org binaries (downloaded from. We have packaged the standard gnu.org GNU Emacs 26.2 binaries into a downloadable installer ( SHA256SUM) for easy installation on Windows.
